a fantastic summer based on the sisterhood of girl scouts

The Pre-Camp Leadership Safari will be on June 20th and 21st at the same Middle School that camp will be held. The Leadership Safari is for girls entering 4th-10th grade in the fall. Girls going into 11th and 12th are invited to assist in planning and leading the Leadership Safari with the mentorship of the Camp Director and interns. Community service hours will be earned. 

​Activities: Girls will compete in fun dutch oven cooking workshops where girls will create their own recipes and make a meal and dessert from a variety of ingredients provided. ARCHERY galore. Girls will participate in archery several times each day. PA/Jr. PA/ Junior Leader teambuilding and competitions (water balloon toss, egg drop, tug of war, lip sync and more). Girls will also set up a camp with tents and compete in fun skill building workshops.

Journey: If the girls are interested in earning a journey, then we can provide a Journey in a day. The Jr. Intern team will meet to plan the Safari. 

Hours: Noon-12:30 check in

12:30-7:00pm Wednesday, 6/20 (dutch oven dinner included)

12:30-6pm Thursday 6/21 (pizza served)

Archery daily

The Leadership Safari is optional and is not mandatory to PA camp. The Leadership Safari is different than the mandatory PA/Jr. PA orientation which will be held on June 24th, 12-5pm. To register for the Leadership Safari, click on the Camp Store on this site. Fee is $70 and includes a patch, t-shirt, workshop supplies and pizza on Thursday.  

The Leadership Retreat is a pre-camp day and optional overnight at The Four Seasons for girls currently in 5th - 12th grade. The Leadership retreat will be held on April 14th-15th and May 19th-20th. DAY only option for $55 available and girls currently in 4th grade are also invited to the day only at both retreats and the overnight on May 19th. Overnight retreat is $85 (early registration). Fees will increase on April 1st. Register on this site in the Camp Store. 

PA - Jr. PA Orientation: June 24th from 12-6pm at the Middle school where camp will be held. Pizza will be served. PA's and Jr. PA's will receive their shirt, make tribe banners and buckets, learn about the camp routine and schedule and get prepared for camp. The PA-Jr. PA orientation is a Leadership Day to prepare for camp. The orientation is free and is mandatory for camp PA's.
